Here's my belief and feel free to disagree. Do you remember the film Lord of the rings? There was a character called Gollum. Gollum was an innocent elf but came in contact with the ring and the ring began to destroy him the more he possessed it. It corrupted his very nature and turned him into a self obsessed isolated loner.

I believe money has a very powerful spiritually nature to it. It can make men bend against their morals and turn friends against each other. Money is a form of power and power is fundamentally an extension of masculinity.

Money corrupts the feminity of a woman because it is fundamentally a masculine tool. Don't believe me? Name 3 women who are completely feminine who have a ton of money? I'll wait...

Money is a masculine force and it Withers away feminity like the ring withered away Gollum.

I once read the book PIMP by iceberg slim. A fantastic book on the psychology of a pimp and the dynamic between his stable (flock of women) and him (their joint husband).

How was 1 man able to control and maintain the loyalty of up to 20 women who would sell their bodies for his love? And who all lived with each other and were aware of each other..

I believe Pimps are able to control large numbers of women because the first thing they ask a woman to surrender, is her money. She surrenders her money in exchange for security and consistency (the pimp always being her man). I believe these women succumbed to their PIMP and were able to do such dangerous and insane jobs for him because what the pimp fundamentally did, was act as a cover for her femininity. He preserved it.

Lol I'm going off topic here admittedly, so I'll finish by saying independent women have a deep obsession with controlling money, it turns them more masculine and unable to be a suitable partner for a masculine man.

Just like there is a difference between confident and cocky men, the same holds true for women. People who are truly confident don't feel a need to push their agenda onto others, always be right or believe how they see things is better than how others see things. Confident people don't feel superior to others or minimize others. They don't accuse, blame, criticize, demand or tell others what they should or shouldn't do. Confident people realize that being in control means being in control of oneself, not others.

I don't feel intimidated by confident people, but I find those who pretend to be confident and do any of the above things confident people don't do to be very annoying. That's not feeling intimidated, but having no interest in associating with them.

Independence is realizing we either have the ability or have the ability to acquire the ability. Independent people can and do work well in teams, without hogging all the glory or keeping others in the dark to promote themselves and prove they are indispensable. They see value in doing things together rather than insist they are the only ones who are capable of doing the task. They appreciate consideration and kindness from others, not insisting they are more than capable to open their own door.

Whatever you choose to be, extremes are turnoffs, so take the feelings of others into consideration rather than choose to be the bull in the China shop.

I think you're asking the wrong question.

Am I turned off by a woman who is confident in themselves? No. Am I turned off by a woman who has a constant need to be right, tries to tout her education any time an opportunity arrives, or otherwise refuses to submit within a relationship to her man? Absolutely.

Do I dislike women who have jobs, even really good jobs? No. Am I turned off by women who have wasted their best years in school/ the office, who then try to shame men into preferring them over their 21-22 year old counter parts? Absolutely.

Do I dislike women who have boundaries? No. Do I dislike women who have done everything in the book, with the whole block, and now have a new set of rules for ME, because they NOW know their WoRtH? Yea.

No I think that is an absolutely beautiful thing when you can watch somebody who believes in themselves they're confident not cocky but they just love themselves they like themselves and they're happy and they smile I think that's a very beautiful thing
