We don't want to get rejected by approaching him. Our self esteem is paper thin and we don't have the guts to do what all you men do. Some women do have the guts and they have done it. Others don't want to do it because they're lazy. It's just too easy for us to expect the guy to do everything since that's how it's been for years. Also a lot of double standards hold us back from approaching the guy. We don't want to seem desperate, we don't want to seem easy, we don't want the guy to not respect us because we took the chase away from him so now he'll take us from granted, maybe it seems like he's just looking for sex the woman wants a relationship so she just doesn't attempt it. A lot of things factor into it.

This chase that men apparently enjoy, is deeply overrated. Infact in my opinion, women love to chase a man they like far more.

In my case Ig it's for convenience and indecision. I have passed a good portion of my life single, which Ig it's normal as I'm young.

But the thing is that it made me get too used to this freedom of being by my own. So now even if I think I like a guy, I won't approach cos I don't know if it's worth it.

I'm never sure if I want to be in a relationship, and give up my freedom and comfortability lol.

Other than that, I'm probably a bit scared about what would happen if I actually make a move and the guy accepts...

Yes this is definitely true. People need to be direct and not wait on someone else. Especially not a stranger.

What is flirting for one person might not be for another. Some people think someone is flirting when they aren’t. While other times someone simply isn’t catching on.

There is other times when someone is flirting and the other person isn’t flirting back. Because they aren’t interested. The only thing at this point you’re going to do is annoy, aggravate, creep out, and make someone uncomfortable.

So you’re better off just being direct and telling someone and asking them. Rather then waiting around.

As someone who did this, it could be because they’re too shy or just want you to make the move. In high school I was really shy and anxious around the guys I was interested in and couldn’t get myself to have full blown conversations with them yet would still hope they noticed me. It was weird..
