My ex deletes his Facebook and Instagram. He still uses his whatsapp and I do have is number.

Some do but most don't. Depends on the person. I have deleted my social media but it wasn't to get my exes attention, it was because I was seriously over the scammers and social media doing Jack all to remove them, especially those who were pretending to be celebrities.
