I think my girlfriend doesn't love me or am I just overthinking?

My girlfriend and i when we first started dating used to talk A LOT 4 months later it seems like i always start the conversations. i am always complimenting her but i never really get compliments back, she will walk up to others during school and talk to them but not me for some reason and when i do talk to her the convo ends relatively quick. can someone tell me if im just overthinking or am i slowly losing her?

You are overthinking it. You (or she has rather) passed what I call the "honeymoon" phase of the relationship. That is when things begin to normalize. Sure, in the beginning, things are lots of fun and exciting. Then, things get more routine because you are used to each other.

That is typical for almost all couples at some point. Was for me and my fiancé as well. That does not mean we don't love each other. We do, very much. It is just that all that initial love and excitement is over. That happens to people at different paces.

If she did not want to be with you, she wouldn't. You are seeing her talking to people at school that likely she does not talk to nearly as much as she does with you, considering you are a couple.

The key is to add excitement into your relationship when you can. Plan special surprises and stuff like that. I know one thing my fiancé used to do was plan a weekend away, even in the city we live in. He would book a really nice hotel and make reservations at a nice restaurant. Now, it doesn't have to be extravagant. Any small gesture to show your appreciation for your partner is gold.

Stop giving her compliments and so much attention. I know it sounds counter intuitive but you need to giver her a chance to miss you not get sick of you. Stay on your purpose and path in life... if you don't have one get one and your purpose and path in life can't BE HER.
