My girlfriend and I just got into a fight because she said I don't care about her. I do everything for her though so I don't understand what she means.
I'm here for her in every way. I'm always taking care of her when she's sick. I buy her all her food and things. She doesn't even go to work and I've been working full time to pay for her rent.
And yet, the other day when my mom asked to come see me, she said no. She didn't want my mom over because she didn't feel good, which is common at this point. My mom lives 8 hrs away and I never have time to go see her or have a good enough car to get there. This was the one time I thought I'd get to see her and show her our new place, but my girlfriend made me tell her no.
I did. And my mom exploded on me for it. In the end my mom apologized to me, but never my girlfriend for saying "she's always sick". Now my girlfriend is saying I don't care about her or her feelings, and I don't care that my mom said that stuff to her. I don't know what I'm supposed to do because I feel like I'm always doing something wrong with her.
