I am working for a little while in this job, two weeks after I joined a new hire came and I was and still am in charge of training her.
She is polite with everyone and quite cheerful, in the first few days a couple of friends in different occasions mentioned that she is single etc etc or her friend asked her if I was him.
We were talking about cloths and that we both needed to buy new ones for the winter. When I asked her if she wanted to join me she replied she already got what she needed. So it didn't work out. Around me she is way more whiny than the rest, she teases me often and she asks me to help her even when she doesn't really need help.
We go out after work quite often and she always bails out if I am not joining them. A few days ago I forgot my wallet and I wasn't going to join them for a coffee break but she was insisting to join them and she treated me, she also remembered the month I was born but I don't remember telling her that so my coworkers started saying she is interested etc etc. The next day I told her I owned her one and she was like, I am looking forward treating me and I am in a good mood cause u gonna treat me. She was even saying that I treated her to the rest the next day.
Some friends from work are pestering me that she is interested but my gut feeling says otherwise. What do you think about it? I am really curious if I am obliviously misread the signs after she rejected my suggestion for going out alone the first time.
