Why does my coworker act so weird?

There's a female coworker that keeps staring at me from a distance, I catch her staring at me strangley and lock eyes with her for a second cause she keeps staring at me from a distance its weird, but up close she won't make eye contact with me and look at me, and won't interact with me at all, why is this?

Dude that is weird as hell! That chick has some issues or something haha.

A few possibilities I can think of:

- She might have a crush on you but is too shy to actually talk to you. Some girls get all awkward and creepy stare-y when they like a guy.

- Or she could just be messing with you, trying to psych you out for her own entertainment. Some people are lame like that.

- Maybe she thinks you did something to piss her off but is too chicken to say anything. Holding some weird grudge now.

- Long shot, but there's a small chance she could have some kind of social disorder or anxiety issues making normal interaction hard.

Whatever it is, I'd try to avoid her weird gaze from now on! Don't give her the satisfaction of getting to you. And maybe subtly ask around the office if anyone knows what her deal is. Chicks be crazy man, who knows! Just don't let it bother you.
