Girl is angry at me because I asked my friends if she flirted with me. Why is she angry?

So what happened is that i feel like she flirted with me by putting her hand on my chest and i didn't know what to do. So i just froze up.

i asked my friends about it and why she did that and they told me she is interested.

The girl who did that find out that i told my about what happened and she asked me why i would do that in an angry voice.

Why is she angry? I only asked my friends because i didn’t know why she touched me.

She's embarrassed, in her place I'd want to bury myself in a hole for feeling myself exposed emotionally to someone who's a stranger or I barely know, the shame can turn into nameless fire of anger towardswho exposed you pretty quick. I even lash out privately on my family and friends sometimes for exposing some feeling I wanted to hide for whatever reason

But while she can be annoyed and question you, I think there's a problem with how much angry she was to the point of losing her cool this way

Haha you got medusa’d and froze up. Well now that the idea of flirting is in the open. You could turn her anger with humor and make an inside joke of it disguised as more flirtation. Or you can tell her the flirtation is off the table , and keep her hands to herself, she's too high risk and blame her for making you flustered. Seize all the glory you gave her for highlighting your day with just a touch of your chest, it made you want to share such a memory with the people you trust

She has no reason to be mad in my opinion. Maybe she's mad that you asked someone else or included other people in her's and your business... but you aren't even dating or anything. And thats a reason why you have friends, to consult them.

Yes the reason i asked is because i don’t know why she would do that so i wanted someone else’s opinion. I can’t tell if she touched me because she was interested.

I mean. Maybe. I know some people who are naturally touchy-feely. I do it when I am flirting with someone, but I also have friends who will do that with EVERYONE (girls and guys). Maybe she's one of those people? Have you notice whether she does this with others? If she's only doing it with you, then I would say its safe to assme that she trusts you, and is maybe interested.
