Not opening my snap but looking at my story?

So recently a girl I knew from way back messaged me about going to the gym because she wanted to get started. I told her I’d help her out, was very responsive etc. and so was she, but I ended up needing to cancel and was really apologetic to her. She opened the message immediately and said it’s okay but the second message I sent offering to reschedule she did not open and it’s been 17 hours. I posted on my Snapchat and she viewed my story but still hasn’t opened the message, is this shady? No I don’t want to hear “maybe she has stuff going on” because she was 100% responsive up until this point and if you truly had something going on, you wouldn’t be on social media AT ALL. I just feel it’s kind of shady because she only messaged me when she wanted something. Am I reading too much into this? I personally would only do that to someone I didn’t like so I am wondering if there’s a different meaning.
