Why do I dump friends and family so easily now?

Well, if you’re an emotionally healthy person, it’s because you have reached your breaking point with people who don’t respect you.

But, in the far more likely event that you are not an emotionally healthy person, it will be because you have a great deal of ego built into your perceptions of the world, and you rapidly cut off anyone who makes you question those perspectives because that’s more comfortable than acknowledging the possibility that you are wrong.

I literally JUST became like that …. It’s just repeated disappointment led me to this. I personally just don’t care anymore

But making sure you find passions or hobbies so that the depression part doesn’t eat you up.

My 2 college friends aren’t coming to my graduation party …. should I feel upset about it?

I have missed some get togethers with them due to being broke and transportation… I even missed one’s birthday dinner. I did express that and I felt bad.

So maybe I shouldn’t feel too bad but I felt like it was important and I don’t have many friends.

I let them know… one friend said that her mom is having company and she has to stay over there… (total excuse esp. at 24 years old) and the other one has something to do

I feel bummed but I don’t know if I should feel some type of way or let it go
