What do you think of a female teacher who keeps calling a student "Spongebob Squarepants"?

Because the girl has really small butt and has a rectangle shaped body. The teacher is 32yo an the student 17.

Definitely seems inappropriate. It would be different if he called her that for another reason but making comments that refer to her body type (especially since telling a woman her butt is small and she’s shaped like a square, isn’t a complimenT) is weird

I think it’s a little mean but I don’t know the kind of relationship this student and teacher have. If it’s friendly Joke between her and her fave teacher then I don’t see a big deal if she’s ok with it but if she’s obviously uncomfortable when the teacher calls her that then yes, I think it’s inappropriate and the teacher should stop.

Totally inappropriate. Does it make her uncomfortable? It would make me uncomfortable if I were in the class. Someone, preferably not her, should bring this to the attention of the school leadership. I would.

Is the teacher liked by the students? Some teachers will actually tease a student to gain favor with the other students.

No. Everybody hates her and she doesn't even care, because she is a substitute teacher and will leave her job in some months
