Girls, should a guy admit his feelings to you, if he likes you?

This is a question guys ponder a lot in their minds, including myself. Questions such as, should I bother? She's going to say no because she'll most likely reject me and other pre-conceived ideas. I understand people will say, you're not going to know unless you try. But girls usually tend to say no nowadays because they don't want a relationship and I think real love doesn't exist as much today, I think chivalry is dead. I think girls have to understand, a female won't go out of her way to apply for a job, to pursue someone or do something if she thinks it will lead to failure. I think a huge part of society today is to diminish how a guy feels. As a guy, I've told other guys you can't walk around thinking the girl you're with is your property, I've told guys that you shouldn't lose your mind if one girl breaks your heart. I could go on and on. But, the main purpose of my question is if a guy has feelings for you should you admit it. If a girl responds to this and says no he shouldn't tell me, my question is why not?

I don’t ask out girls because y’all will most likely say no anyways. I mean why invest in something like that. It’s like me going to the store wanting to buy something in particular but I can’t.

A better comparison is not going to the store because you don't know if you can afford it.
