Just depends how he feels about you. I'm guessing you're worrying because he hasn't texted right back, give it time and be patient. Most importantly, don't let your mind go into overdrive trying to figure out why he hasn't texted yet. Could be any number of reasons, some may have nothing to do with you. Give it a day or two and see if he replies.

Panic and get too nervous to answer the text right away. Then the longer he waits the more awkward it will seem and he won't message back. You may need to message him a couple times or follow up in person after.
