A woman's idea of strength is masculinity. Despite being outmatched in strength, our forefathers have outlasted or eliminated every threat to our kind with perseverance and wit. Men have conquered the planet for generations and continue to secure humanity's place in the universe. We're simply more intrinsically motivated to fight and thrive. We've gotten to a point where we're the apex predators of the planet. Our only competition is other people.

Femininity is the complete opposite. I just wrote an opinion about how dependent women are for survival. Women have followed men since the beginning, and still do despite lying about it. Our behavior is completely out of their realm. If they want to thrive, they either rely on and/or mimic men.

In fact, women straight up try to act like men whenever they want to achieve something major. Masculine energy is just far more productive. Joan of Arc, women's rights movements, and even modern feminism are all feminine attempts at copying masculinity. This is so true that women who act like men get increased testosterone. Just look at female body builders.

Women also have a very shallow perception of masculinity. They care more about the results than the process. To them, strength means beating others. Since humans are the apex predators, beating other humans validates your strength. Life is FAR from this simple, but this is how women see things.

In fact, women are just as viciously competitive as men, just much less open about it. Their methods of attack are targeting your ego and reputation as opposed to fighting. They prefer quick and easy ways to demotivate or prevent you from harm since they're weak and insecure.

This is where gaslighting comes in. It's not uncommon for women to be hypocrites or otherwise insult you during arguments. Bitter feminists want to demotivate nay sayers while passive aggressively insisting they're right. Without hesitation, they'll straight up say masculinity is bad or useless while trying to be more masculine. A very cowardly and lecherous attempt to feel secure about themselves. They can only be good by default, not in and of themselves.

See sexual revolution, promiscuity, and the drip economy.

Feminism is the logical result of advanced industry/technology and the natural propensity of females to maximize their hypergamous mating strategy in liberal countries.

Honestly I’ve realized that feminism is just a form of double standards that’s in disguise. All these feminist on the media and that I’ve met and used to be friends with would all say that “all men are pigs” “women don’t need men but men need us”. The most absurd thing I’ve heard from an actual ex feminist friend when ranting told me that “men can never be sexually assaulted because they always wanna get laid”. It’s so funny how all these so called feminist preach for equality and yet while supposedly being “equal” they just bring men down. Lastly to answer your question some women just want to feel more powerful than men so they resort to being and acting toxic.

Why do guys often missquote feminists to make them seem hatefull? Or alternatively make a minority of feminist seem like the majority?
Feminity or maculinity are neither good or bad, what you do with it can be. Toxic masculinity doesn't mean maculinity is toxic, but that you have a need to be so maculin to an extrem, that you dont see when it isn't good and accepting its limits. As an excample: You create 'rules' for society and men that they have to follow or they aren't considered masculin anymore
(Dont show weekness and never cry, be the strongest, dont depend on anyone). An evenlbigger problem is that often these are often things you consider feminin.

To feminists, feminine behavior should only be encouraged in men, and masculine behavior should only be encouraged in women.

The irony of the term "toxic masculinity" is that the modern feminists who use the term are themselves the most common examples of the behaviors they describe and toxic masculinity.
