Can you give a girl your business card?

It seems pretty convenient to do this say if I chat some girl up at the gas station. I can just grab a card out of my truck real quick and she would probably remember it easier.

It would come off as strange if a guy gave me his business card, and I might wonder how many women he just hands off his business card to. That aside, it would not be a bad thing for him to do so… and he would certainly stand out for doing it, because guys don’t usually do that. It would also show that he is employed which is always a plus. Go ahead and do it, but you might get a weird look for it at first

Well you don't just hand it to her you make a little small talk if possible and at least tell her why you're giving it to her

Of course, but these days most people have cell phones and social media. The “norm” is for a guy to ask for your number, or give you his, and you enter it into your phone. The other common thing is to ask what the persons social media account is, so you can add them. I think the business card is an interesting idea and it will make you stand apart from other guys. As you mentioned, just make sure you let her know why you want her to take the card :)

Sure the card is just as easy to throw away as your information written on a napkin or piece of paper

I haven't had a business card for 20 years. People can find me on Linked-In easily enough.

If I were still dating, I wouldn't have a business card, I would have a very clever "Date me" card.
