How to bring up a more difficult and private subject with her?

i talk to her inperson at this pub we both go to but i want to talk to her about something more private and difficult. i just don't know how to bring it up , its mainly about a girl that she's close friends with who has treated me badly and i'm not sure why

If it were me, I probably would talk directly to the other person involved and avoid the in between stuff.

A basic strategy that i use for serious conversation is scheduling an appointment. Most women like that and it becomes a "mini date" or free lunch etc...

A gentle tone is required and accusations are to be totally avoided. Absolutely no sign of anger or exasperation over what the issue is. When you start off in a negative way the conversation will stay negative. At that point ears close and feelings stay hurt..

How long have you known her? It would be good to know that. If you don't know her well, then take some time to get to know her better, than ask.
