Do you think women have overplayed the use of the word "creepy"?

It seems that women are becoming more and more misandrist towards the average guy and basically labelling any action a man she does not find attractive as being creepy. We see it most recently in gym work out videos where girls calling men "creepy" for just looking at them or offering to help them put on weights.

We see it in everyday life when a man crosses a woman's path or builds up the courage to approach a woman. Even simple gesture like asking for the time and women these days are assuming the man is hitting on them and label him as a creep just because she does not find him particularly attractive.

Do you think women are overplaying the word creep?

Do you think less people will believe a woman's word when she calls a guy creepy and just assume she find him unattractive?

Women tend to use exaggerated words for dramatic effect. I think you are on the money when you say creepy equates to unattractive men.

Regardless of what they might say, women do dress to look attractive/beautiful. Active wear fairly much just colorizes the female body and even the shape of the pussy is revealed. It is just unrealistic to expect men not to look if all is being revealed. And it is even more unrealistic to expect men they find unattractive not to look and only men they find attractive to look.

There could be an aspect of reverse boasting in this. Part of female bonding is to negate compliments so as to not be a threat to the group. There has been some interesting work on female bonding and group dynamics and this is definitely a strong element.

So the inverse side of the creepy statement is a boast "I'm so hot that men can't help but stare" but cast in a way that she is a victim and not a threat to other women.

Putting ourselves in girls shoes for a moment, I guess we could understand girls might be a bit over guys checking out their breasts, legs, ass and pussy pretty much full time.

What I find is if you look at a girl with "I love all boobs/legs/ass/pussy so much" in the front of your mind you get a stony face. On the other hand, it is an entirely different kettle of fish if you look at a girl with "Her boobs/legs/ass/pussy are magic" in the front of your mind. It used to be called an admiring glance.

If she is magic is in front of mind you'll get a happy smile and sometimes even little shows.

Women often use the word creepy as a way to avoid just saying "I'm not into you" or "I don't like you", because those women in particular are allergic to personal accountability, and even the slightest chance that someone might be critical of her and call her rude, is just unacceptable, so she redirects the public eye on the guy who just wanted to confess how he felt and actually isn't creepy at all.

Granted, some guys (and girls) actually are creepy, but thats rare.

No there is creepy and not creepy and we learn very fast what creepy is from about age 12.

It seems like it. But I think these are young women who are very sensitive to any guys around them. I have also noticed that it tends to be women who are looking for attention but then complain when they get it ( and will complain when they don't)
