Do you believe that women have a weaker sense of self worth than men?

I read somewhere that men have a high sense of self worth as compared to women. But I don't understand why. So do girls not feel like there good enough more so than men. How do you even reach a conclusion like that.

But the author came to this conclusion because they said in society girls need to see representation in order for them to think it's possible, so the reason why there aren't any girls in Stem or want to do traditionally masculine stuff is because they don't think there allowed because they haven't seen any woman doing it. But that would mean do things regardless and they don't need to see another man doing it.

As much as men try to ensure that is the case I think womens self esteem is superior. Men's self esteem almost always is a function of some outside accomplishment. Money, car, Uni etc. All men know that these aren't a , measure of self esteem since they can all easily be lost. Women's self esteem though sometimes incorrectly transitory like beauty, often comes from doing estimable things. Humility is probably the most estimable position it is from humility that women give themselves to child care ultimate test of self esteem and men to often confuse humility with humiliation. I've been places where I could overhear conversations between men and women who have recently meant. The single most boring, least relevant thing men brag about is how essential they are to the workforce and consequently how much money they make and what toys they have as a result. The easiest test though is this. If a woman in a married couple or close and together for a long time. Since the woman is most likely to stay home raising kids she will likely get far more infections far more quickly then men. When she catches the flu, she rarely asks the man to stay home from work so he cab take care of the kids and help her. He can't stay home because he has an important meeting. When he finally catches it, he stays home from work and every sentence starts with "honey, do you know" followed by something like where the aspirin is or can you go to the pharmacy. All things she did while she was sick and took care of the kids.

IF women's self-esteem is lower than mens (and I'm not at all convinced that there's any difference) Then I would attribute that to the fucked-up pressures society will put on women that men don't have to deal with.

Think about this, for example. If you're a woman... you can't just... wake up and go outside. You can't go outside until you "fix" your ACTUAL face first. Can't forget that makeup. Not to mention weight, sex (be sexy... but not TOO sexy), and a myriad of other bullshit that's GOING to make a person feel inadequate. It's a lot easier being a guy in my opinion.

I honestly got a spilt option on this, and what one is true will depend on both sides

To one I feel that woman do have less self worth mostly becouse of media push from one side and tradision from the outher, leaving one hanging in the moddle on how to defind them self, thats not saying all are like that as some lean to some side, giving them a very clear refrence to strive, mostly on the tardisnal side
And ads and so on harming a lot with diffrent pushs to the impossible a kind of "Get this and your dream come true" or "Be your self, by showing everyone this and that"
All that hits the view of one on her self, as even if there perfect to be them self the idle is there to show them nothing they got gets to it

On the outher hand its possible that both are the same
But man are "trained" to hide it becouse its "unmanly" to dubets your self worth making a man try to show him self as trusting in him self more then they really do, just to try and keep that image of manly
And some give up, hide away as just like before they can't see them self getting to an impossible idle
Making them hide more there lower self worth making it hard to really know who is what in the end of the day

That is anyway my feel on the subject, I may be completley off, I really dont know

But in most relationships women are indecisive, about something as simple as we're to eat for a date. And that norm seem to transcend time and culture. Also there was a study done that women brain are more prone to worrying, which to me means that's they stress over little things more often than men do, or at least there brains are designed to be hyper aware of threats. So that would lend to a weaker sense of self worth if your always stressed about the world.

Well I can use my sister for example, she'll ask about off people major life decisions that at that age I would never leave up to others. Hell even this website, most girls are ask questions like "should I break up with my boyfriend" if you can decide if you should stop seeing your boyfriend what kind of decision making skills do you have and why don't you trust your own judgement? To me it's very obvious that girls overall are not that sure of themselves. I don't know why theyre like but I'm sure the answer will present itself in time.

I don't know, everyone man and woman a like ask for suggestions and options from everyone else in the family on and large thing
I mean is your sister going "You tell me what to do"? or is she asking for options about it to get a bigger picture of stuff and get elements they may miss

I know I do that all the time and I think a lot of who is asking on break ups here is doing it to get a larger image and maybe calm there nerves from outers

I just think women are natural better at making friends, so when it comes to my sister or any other girl who cares about people opinions. It works in there favor because they can easily make friends but being unsure of your self when you fail might cause you to not recover.

But yeah usually when I ask a question on her it's because I've already formed an opinion and I what to see if I can be proven wrong or at least have an intelligent conversation about, but what I find more often is guys ask questions because they genuinely need guidance on the subject because they don't have no idea how to solve it, very rarely it's because they can't see the bigger picture. But then again most of there question girls ask are age related, so if you're a teenager and your wonder why teenage boys don't want to commit. To me it's obvious that boy who is teenager can take care of a woman and that men like variety when it comes to sex. But the younger might not be aware of this obvious fact about boys.

Second the way you talk about asking for options ("proven wrong") makes it sound like your coming into that discussion with a closed mind set on your option
Personally I think that is a bad way to do stuff, as if you ask for an option you should come with an open mind willing to change if the logic is made

I honestly little lost you about the end, but I will say that maybe its a colture thing, most of the guys I meet did not want much change, they wanted the same over and over, and nowmally I be the one pushing for change and variety

Yeah I don't know why the link is broken but it's was a tiktok of parents sending in pictures of there daughters after they graduated from high school and then after there first year of university. And in the first picture they look wholesome but after the first year of university they look like the stereotypical blue haired feminist. That may have been the case once upon a time. We’ve been telling women and girls that they’re perfect just because of their genitalia for so long i couldn’t tell you the last time i met a woman who didn’t act exactly like that’s a fact. Meanwhile, men are still “toxic” and inherently defective. We’re valued exclusively for our willingness and ability to provide for women and children. Pretty sure it's due to the pressure society puts on women. By society i mean basically the people around the woman.
And easy example, most male singers can basically throw on any clothes and perform on stage. Ed Sheeran can wear a t shirt and jeans and walk up there with his guitar and sing. No one says anything.
But women singers for example let's say Taylor Swift, have to completely dressed with accessories and makeup or else people start criticising her.
This is something we as people started doing to them. I'd say that probably affects their self esteem more than anything else.

Not at all, I think women tend to be harsher when it comes to evaluating themselves and they do it more often. Often, they accomplish more in a day than we do in a week.
