Is my female friend bragging about her relationship?

She’s only been dating him a short time. But when I tell her about a date I went on and maybe I didn’t like the guy romantically she will say “I’m soooo glad I’m not single anymore”. When she does it feels like bragging/shitting on me and trying to bring me down. The truth is I’m happy being single.. Am I right in my perception?

It sounds like she wants to share her joy with her friend. It seems like you are in competition with her. Just take it as girl talk... especially the "glad I am not single". You should know what that is like... and she is probably trying to say that I remember and yeah, "that sucks". Give her few more chances...

If she tells you the bad times coming then you will know she is good.
