Is an attention seeker jealous of my female friend?

Me and my female platonic friend flirt with each other but we know where we stand (there is no romance there, we just banter for fun).

An attention seeking female friend who I have labelled as just leading me on who gave so many signs and and hints etc is jealous of my female friend, why is this?

The attention seeker is not interested in me, she has flatly turned me down so what is going on?

Attention seekers are usually very jealous and insecure people, and also tend to like to play games. They may not really want you, but they still want to be the center of your attention (as well as possibly chased by you). They cannot stand another person having your attention instead of them. That is the nature of an attention seeking person.

How do you tell the difference between a woman really wanting you and just seeking your attention/leading you on?

Attention seekers tend to play those hot and cold, hard to get type of games, and will act disinterested at times but then get really jealous and upset if someone else takes your attention away from them. They are not truly interested, but just want to be the center of everyone's attention.

Ok that explains what I have seen in her. Her flirting with me more when I got disinterested or when another woman showed interest in me.

So with most attention seekers are they partially interested in the guys they flirt with or just zero interest and flirt to lead guys on?

It depends on the person, but usually they are just obsessed with the attention, and like to play "catch and release".
