i said there are 18 after that she said i love you.

In context I think it just means she was trying to let you know she appreciates you helping her out. Knowing the answer to her question prevented her from doing extra work to find the answer herself so she's trying to let you know that you helped her out and that she genuinely appreciates your efforts. I don't think there's anything more than that tbh. Sometimes people just say things without realizing how it might come off to the other person.
