Why do I feel bad for quitting on her?

i'm leaving my job at end of march i can't take working 60 hours for 6 to 7 months during the summer anymore been doing it for 6 years.

i think it will help out my mental health very much.

but i feel a little bad for leaving ny new boss i never worked for a woman like her before i realy wanted to get to her know more.

Always put your mental health first. When i was with dept of ed, i had to work 60+ hours every other week as well. I haaaated it so much. I felt so good once i quit. It was a major relief. Hard getting other jobs ever since but still worth leavin. You shouldn't feel bad when these jobs treat you like a modern slave. Screw them. Now that you’ve quit, you can be her friend and work won't get in the way of that
