If a diamond is less than a carat it looks cheap. If it's bigger than 3 carats it looks trashy.

It may be any one of those reasons or (d.). You have expensive tastes and yourself and your husband can afford the best, so you both figure, why not? I don’t think a beautiful ring is important or a white wedding if I marry, as long as I have a beautiful dress, I look lovely and I get a fun wedding, lunch or dinner and honeymoon; but I don’t think people are wrong for being more traditional if they can afford to be so. I just can’t.
