Does sibling’s gender and a birth order reveal your own personality?

I’ve been talking with this man and we are going to meet on Saturday,

the other day he mentioned he thinks I am an older sister of a brother, he knew I had a sibling but didn’t know if I had an older sibling or a younger sibling.

I was surprised he guessed I have a younger brother and asked how he guessed:

He said that’s because I am very hard-working, so he thinks I always felt the responsibility to help the family as an older sibling, he thinks that I have a brother because I easily understand a man and I am nice and caring to them, so I must have a brother, most likely a younger one. Not an olde brother, cause he thought I would be less hard-working and would have a more relaxed lifestyle if I had an older brother. That’s why he thought I was an older sibling.

And when I asked how did he know I didn’t have a younger sister, he said that’s just his intuition, he guessed I don’t have a sister but a brother.

Is it so easy to decipher that from the short interactions we’ve had?

There is the birth order theory that says certain siblings born in a certain order end up gaining certain personality traits, so that's a way he might have been able to tell.

There's also the statistical fact about how a man is more likely to be gay depending on how many more older brothers he has. Not older siblings, specifically older brothers. It's interesting how that works.

I am just really surprised he guessed all that thanks to his logic and intuition.

Not really but you can generalize everything and find some common traits here and there

The birth order theory is something believed in the past, but most experts no longer agree with it. There are some exception who still believe in it though.

Even if there is something to it, it's an average of millions of people, not something that can predict a child's personality.

The guy just got lucky guessing your birth order.
