Do you think having a brother shapes a woman’s personality and having a sister shapes a man’s personality?

Growing up my brother was 1.5 younger than me but while I was shy, a bit socially awkward and study-oriented, he was the opposite, he was very popular, kind of a player and very outgoing.

In my teens, When I felt lost and confused about opposite sex in my life, I always looked for his advice, because I felt like I had an insider from the opposite camp, who was on my side and would always give me a very good/honest and caring advice.

He would often give me a very straightforward and direct opinion about teenager boys and he often told me “That’s what he wants. Now you decide if that’s what you want to accept.”

I feel like having him saved me from making some naive mistakes back then.

At one point, my guy friend at that time told me, “You are lucky you have your brother, he showed you all of our secrets, if not him, you’d be like a little fish in front of sharks.” 😂😂 He’s not my guy friend anymore, by the way haha.

On the other hand I think my brother learned a lot from me and my two older female cousins, he always spent time around us and all three of us were so different from each other he learned about female behavior and female mind early on, which I think somehow helped him in his better understanding and success with women.

Do you think siblings teach each other a lot growing up and act like guides to one another when it’s about understanding of the opposite sex?

Do you think having a brother shapes a woman’s personality and having a sister shapes a man’s personality?
