Why do I enjoy the company of men as friends vs women?

I don't dislike women and have a few women friends. I've always been a tomboy and recently have been learning new sports. I have had a few guy friends before. I've noticed that I really like the energy of men. There chill laid back and helpful. Men don't complicate things or get overly emotional.

What's your theory.

Same. I just prefer the company of guys more than girls. They are straight forward, what you see is what you get, whereas with girls there are games and drama they don't always say what they really mean.

Men are typically more up front and don't sit there and overthink everything and women don't like compaction of the same sex
