Why do girls dont fast in ramadan?

I am not too familiar with Ramadan as I am not a Muslima.

I am sure that most Muslima do observe Ramadan but there is hopefully an increasing number of them that oppose this tradition simply because they feel generally oppressed in that religion. It is perhaps a way for them to indicate that the time for a drastic change for them has arrived and that they will no longer take everything from their husbands and leaders.

Modern society moves ahead and there is no exception for Islam. However, I am sure that a great majority of the mostly elderly women do observe Ramadan because they are more traditional and less informed.

My question was a bit different, it is about special 2 to 3 days for women only... they hide that specialy... may u won't get it since ur non muslim... but dont know why the tone drifted towards hypotheical prejudice of opression...😐

hypothetical? You being from the USA have probably not seen the uprising of women in Iran against the obligation to cover their hair.

And yess 97% of the West is the victim of False information spread by politicaly backed media..
No need to remind the iraq war, iran war, lebia, yemen, Afghanistan, Osama bin ladin was deemed muslim coz he say Allahu Akbar so he must be doing something that is approved and is the teachings of islam leading to political islamophobia etc...

Yes there are questionable acts (Presumed by international norms) constituting not more than 3% portrayed 60% to 70%...
