20 year old dating a 17 year old girl?

I'm going to start off by saying the legal age of consent where i live is 16. I want to explain the situation first off before anything else. Basically i grew up with two kids, one my age (20) and one a few years younger (17). These two guys are brothers and would consider the the one my age my most closest friend. The younger of the two is also a really good friend of mine and now being 17 and passing his drivers test is at that age where we will now often go out to do things together. He has a friend who is also his age. She would often come out with the group of friends we have and naturally we became friends. Now this girl lives less then a 2 minute drive from me, so whenever we go out it's just easier for me to pick her up and go wherever it is we are going. Naturally being in a car together means we often have deep talks about things and she is genuinely one of the best girls i've ever met. Me being 20 and her being 17 means i've never even thought about the possibility of anything remotely happening. She often talks about her ex and the crush she has on a friend in the group. However, recently i've noticed that things have changed. She is now a lot more touchy often touching my hand when changing gear or sometimes even stroking my arm. I used to pass this off as just her now being friendly as she still talks about the crush she has as well as her ex. The only difference is i'm now getting messages and snapchats from her late at night (nothing sexual) often just to chat. I even mentioned how i'm invited to a wedding and she instantly said i should bring her as my plus one and that we need to come up with a story about how we've been dating for 2 years. She seems to now be messaging me almost everyday asking if we (the group) are doing anything and if she can come with me. She almost always gets in my car whenever we go out as well. Now one of my friends has messaged me asking if anything is going on between us which i replied no because nothing remotely is.
