Girls, If a woman has trust issues and has a negative view of men/guys, how does a guy help through that, is it even possible?

There are two ways I would suggest to win somebody's trust - by including them in your social circle so they feel you respect them and have confidence in their personality and intelligence - or by showing you understand them by sharing insights you do not think they would come up with on their own that honour their feelings and help them see the situation in a different way.
