How do I go about asking what she does outside of the bar scene?

i've been running into this girl at the bars here lately and we've got along great there but never really seen her anywhere else and not really sure what she does outside of the bar scene. i don't even know what her job is or much of anything. i have seen some of her social media but it doesn't mention much or answer my questions. is it ok if i ask or is she just trying to keep her life separate

i guess i'll have to ask as its not posted anywhere online , some girls think i'm going to like try and visit them at work as some i've meet at restaurants as they were servers , not sure if she works in one too but could work somewhere else

Bartenders and waitresses are generally pretty tough. But I figure you're never gonna get any chance if you just wait around for them. Actually you really gotta move in with those if you want any chance.

she doesn't work in these bars , just a regular who goes out a lot but agree you'd need to move in quickly with this type of girl if you figure you have a chance

My bad! But hopefully same mindset. Narrow window of opportunity! And unless you are like the slickest VIP guy in the bar getting every girl who just sort of casually walks by her asks how it's going while girls are drooling over you, I figure best chance is that you just go talk to her. Always a risk but prolonging the action is probably increasing the risk.

the first time i saw her at a bar here i was pretty direct , we had actually never talked before or even meet , but i knew who she was as she's friends with some other girls i know , so anyways i just asked her if she wanted to do a shot at the bar and we did a tequila and talked a bit that night. then i didn't see her for a bit but seen her the last 2 weekends in a row downtown here. i do talk to her , just not finding out much about her life outside the bar scene , i don't have her # either but did add her on instagram

So you can be like, "So, we've seen each other [this isn't actually as lame as it sounds to say to girls; don't say to guys] and I barely know anything about you. Where do you work?" Then after she tells you, you ask her a bunch of very open-ended questions. Get her talking.

at the bar? our encounters have been quick although last Saturday she was around much longer. typically i see her and we do a shot of tequila at the bar , we do talk when at the bar and thats how i've learned what i have about her so far

yes we've talked about various things at the bars when i've seen her there , i just don't know certain things yet
