Straightforward to me means no wondering where this is going. Do we have a chance at end game, or are we wasting time? If you like me, tell me. Don’t drop hints or play games to try and make me jealous then misinterpret my actions or words. The same is true of the opposite. I don’t want to be a placeholder until what you’re looking for really comes along. Things don’t need to move quickly to have that happen. Don’t play with my emotions on purpose, but get to know me before anything physical happens.
Because its a sign that the guy is not desperate and pushy.
