Why do other women stare at me so much?

I notice this a lot with other women. Some blatantly stare at me. Sometimes will stare until I look at them, or stare at me with their boyfriends present. I went into a store today and the shop clerk greeted me and just stared at me! These are sometimes dirty looks but I am referring to the women who are just staring at me, I don’t think it’s necessarily in a sexual way.
I honestly don’t know the deal because I don’t stare at other women blatantly like that. Even ones I find attractive.
