Does the modern girl not ever leave their house, literally?

I lived by many girls around my age range (19-24) & from what I've seen most of them rarely ever left their front porch or even go around the block or corner of the neighborhood

I know this because back then I left the house everyday for school & attended to my morning chores around my grandmothers house & went jogging around the block almost constantly

& Not once did I ever see others my age or girls for the matter even leave their house

Is it a safety issue? Fear of getting approached?

Laziness? Rather be on their phones instead?

Well unless theyre walking down the street they would go from the porch to a car

I always assume it's a lazy & safety issue

Being on your phone every day & worried about being hot on is what I attribute

I'm just curious because I'm literally one of the very few youngsters who jogs around the block or steps outside to work on whatever needs fixing

Yeah basically. I don’t do much because what am I supposed to do? Everything is so expensive so I can’t do much. If I go out and just sit somewhere I get bored. So yeah I stay at home.

Is it also because of potential creeps?

I'm asking because I used to live with my female cousins & they rarely ever left the house to walk or or do anything unless it was something that required them getting into their car

That is not a thing in my world. With work, parties and live bands, we are going somewhere most days of the week.
