Say that you are going home after visiting your friend's apartment, You had a nice evening and talking loads, she's showing you photo albums of her work and colleagues.
Then it's time to head home. Usually, She would open the door and let you out, therefore being quite close to you as you leave but in my case, she stood across the room (about the length of a regular sized coffee table) and seems like she was waiting for something.
I opened the door and stood there waiting to say something to her but instead I went up and hugged her again before I left her home.
Obviously I want to believe that she might be into me but I don't want to jump to conclusions and get my hopes up. Either that, I've watched too many romcoms

Hmm yo that is weird she stood so far away by the door instead of walking you out like normal. Couple thoughts:
- Maybe she was just giving you space to make a move if you wanted? Like making it obvious she was available to be hugged without shoving up on you.
- Or could be she's shy and wasn't sure if a hug goodbye was what you were after. Making things awkward if she misread it, ya know?
- Might mean nothing too though, bro. chicks do random shy shit sometimes for no reason.
I'd say the hug is a good sign! She didn't pull away or seem uncomfortable. And if you vibe was good all night, I'd say go for asking her out next time.
Nothing ventured nothing gained and all that. Plus even if she's not feeling you like that, seems cool enough she'd still be down to chill as friends.
I'd play it casual but make another move soon to know for sure where you stand. Keep it cool either way - you got this, bro! Let me know what happens.
