How can anyone be attracted to a person solely based on what he/she posts on social media, that makes no sense.

Personally, I would never be attracted to anyone just because of their social presence. It takes substantially more to find a connection with someone. Actually, I would be rather turned off by people that spend their entire life on social media because that indicates that those people seek attention and validation

A person that I could imagine being attracted to would be someone with a good character and personality and those don't spend a lifetime trying to get the attention of others.

Thank you for your honesty! I like to share things on social media I find funny/exciting maybe twice a week. Part of the reason is for social connection and the other part is to generate interest from a girl I have a crush on that isn't particularly interested.
I know the second reason is super dumb but I was just trying to give it my best shot. I am going to take a break from social media and focus on work/myself.
