The moon is generally the same shape all the time given minor changes from collisions with meteorite and research vessels that can slightly change it's surface characteristics. It's the visible reflection of light from the Sun off the surface of the Moon that changes during a lunar cycle. The Moon orbits Earth. Depending on it's position in orbit, onlookers will have a certain viewing angle from Earth.

it is ALWAYS round and sphere, you meant its light. it seems to grow and shrink, die n birth but... the fact it is near sun when bright is sliver but seen at night or evening when bright disk indicated it is moving and reflected so the reflection caused the change how much of the bright half we see, all of half or less and none.

Because of the Moon's changing position as it orbits our planet, the Sun's light focus on different parts of it, giving the illusion that the Moon is changing shape over time.
