Good Question, So both have lost respect for each other and most of all, I know ill get backlash for this but it has to be said but Women of today have no respect for themselves. We have lost what it is to be a woman, feminine and graceful. We want to be like men but the fact is we arnt like them. We all have a role to play in life as men and women and right now its a complete mess. Men are absent in their kids lives and women are raising their sons to be emotional confused wimps. A man and a woman need to work as a team and we are instead turning on one another to try and eliminate one another from existence. Thats whats screwed up. Its okay to be a strong woman and have your own business etc but whats not okay is making our men of today feel belittled and ashamed of being a man.

I’m going to get berated for this by other girls no doubt but we have lost respect for ourselves and therefore lose respect for men. But the other reason I think men have lost respect for women is because of the small minority of women that spoil it for the rest of us. Like that woman who was drowning at the bottom of a swimming pool and got rescued by a male lifeguard and instead of thanking him for saving her life, she filed rape charges against him because he touched her near her intimate areas without her consent while he was rescuing her.

There is an evolutionary theory that’s causing so many problems nowadays.

Historically women were at a disadvantage to men and Mother Nature made them more subconsciously selfish for self preservation reasons (and to protect their children). For most of humanity they had limited opportunities, power and rights. So they had to rely on their feminine wiles and manipulation via relationships to survive and/or get ahead.

And historically most men were NOT rapists and/or violent abusers (fuck you feminists for claiming otherwise). If we were then chivalry would of never started. Most men innately have soft spots to love and care for women. We didn’t need to be brainwashed/guilted further because a few bad apples exist (and always will exist).

So now western women have more freedom, power and opportunity in all of human history. I believe they have actually more opportunity and benefits then men in modern western society (when all else is equal). So some of these advancements for women’s rights were well meaning and justified. However what unfortunately hasn’t changed for most women in their subconscious evolutionary thinking. They are still on average much more selfish then men and don’t even realize it. They want to have their cake and eat it too.

Some women are completely aware and disgusted at the sickening double standards. But too many others lack that mental self awareness. They feel little guilt/shame about it either. Just more greed.

But men and women are meant to be bound for the survival of the human species. There is a reason why they say in wedding “now you are one” when you get married. What these modern feminists don’t realize is when they manipulate and harm men and masculinity they ultimately end up harming women. When men fail then women ultimately fail. It’s not a zero sum game where one gender benefits from harming the other.

Sure there is a sugar high and short term benefits to that selfish insanity. However were women meant to be voluntarily lifelong single and childless?

I'm old enough to remember when the vast majority of women (almost all), wanted to be attractive to men. Not just physically but character wise. Even women who had poor character tried hard to have the public image of having a good character. There was ZERO question that a street hooker had less to offer than the average woman.

Today things have flipped. Now the vast majority of women focus on sex and openly make it the most important thing. They don't have the character stuff that guys value and they also had poor role models and friends so the bad stuff is spreading fast like cancer. These women cannot be loyal or respectful of men. They openly mock/hold contempt for men. Now the street hooker actually has better character because she's honest about not being loyal. While the other women will lie and claim to have some good qualities.

When you don't respect yourself, why would anybody else respect you? These women treat themselves like trash but expect a man to treat her like a queen!

Of course there's SOME smart women who have old school values and still get respect.

@monorprise I heard some theory that the guys who backed feminism initially were rich guys who wanted to sleep with as many women as possible and the social norms of the day made that impossible. Thou Public education was indeed invented for the propose of controlling populations, original in Prussa simply to make them good soldiers of the State. With New England politicians soon adopting the same idea probably for similar reasons thou rebranded as necessary for good citizens.

There are two types that bother me, the kind that have no concept of money, a champagne taste with a beer budget that wants a man only to pay her bills and help with her massive credit card debt, and the type that brings virtually nothing to the table but insists that she's "all that" and 9 out of 10 times can't even articulate something she brings to the table. In my opinion it was the advent of Tinder and the like that really changed the landscape. It gave men and women the illusion of infinite choices. A few years go by and women start finding serious relationships are difficult to find there, while men find it's a lot of effort for less returns compared to women.

That's natural, but add on to that women posting so many gotcha moments, cancel culture promoting that, DEI initiatives, a civil legal system loaded against you there too. Many men are choosing not to compete. Some of it is completely unrelated to women, like the guy charged with murder and mob justice encouraged for defending himself on a subway.

Society is being pushed to make men stop being men, so many are doing just that, but then get pissed when exactly that happens.

Some months ago I've made a summary/bullet points of a video on YT and decided to share them with the others. Video was about about red flags in dating and things like that, targeted to female audience.
Some random woman of 50 ys old decided to post a comment under my post complaining that ALL men are the same and that theyre ALL out ONLY for sex. Which was her experience and she made it sound like it was some sort of universal law. By which I replied that it was statistically impossible that billions of men are ALL out for sex and only sex. By which she replied that she dated for decades and implied that she knew better because of her age and all men are pigs.

My opinion is just one word: bullsht.

But there was one thing that really stood out about what she was complaining about and it's the lack of respect.
I think both genders would book a lot of progress if people just taught their kids the basic human decency and respect for each other, but I think that's a long way off from reality.
