One thing I've found interesting about this supposed "male-gaze" from following transmen on YT is that they developed it after HRT. I even talked to one who was a feminist before a woman and then felt so guilty about it as a transman, so tempted to look at women's sexual parts after his/her therapy. The feminist narrative that this is socialized behavior completely breaks apart in this case along with the FtM case. It's hormonal behavior, not socialized; it's related to endocrinology, not sociology. So it is perfectly natural as a guy with testosterone to want to look at the bodies of people to whom you are sexually attracted. If you're mostly looking at women regardless of your shyness and shame, you're probably straight.
