Period experiences can vary greatly from person to person. While I can provide some general information, it's important to remember that individual experiences may differ significantly.
The heaviness of menstrual bleeding, as well as the presence and severity of cramps, can vary among women. Some women may experience heavy flow, requiring multiple pads or other menstrual products to manage it, while others may have lighter flow. Similarly, the intensity of menstrual cramps can vary from mild discomfort to severe pain that interferes with daily activities.
It's important to note that experiencing heavy bleeding or severe cramps can be indicative of an underlying medical condition, such as endometriosis or uterine fibroids. If you have concerns about the heaviness of your period or the severity of your symptoms, I recommend speaking with a healthcare professional who can provide a proper evaluation and offer guidance or treatment options.
Additionally, there are various menstrual products available to manage different levels of flow, including pads, tampons, menstrual cups, and period underwear. Finding the right combination of products that works for you can be a personal process, and it may take some trial and error to find what is most comfortable and effective.
Remember, it's essential to prioritize your well-being during your menstrual cycle. If you're experiencing excessive pain, discomfort, or any other concerns, seeking guidance from a healthcare professional is recommended.

My heart goes out to you and all my prayers hope you get a doctor who will listen to you because you can never know about these doctors anymore.
am so sorry you are going through this. does your doctor know any of this? I have always had severe periods as well. when i first started, my periods were over a week, dr had to put me on birth control to knock down the long days. helped for a bit. tried many more birth control, but, a nother gyno told me that am just allergic to birth control from too many bad reactions to em. Never bled that much as you though.
then periods got so worse after a certain type of Tubal ligation (was told this would help my severe periods)
do you like salmon? try eating stuff that helps get rid of inflamation. hot drinks help/ so does a muscle relaxer. do you like tomato sauce- you can heat that up and drink it-helps period pain? how about Hibiscus tea or Chamomile and Lavender Tea? maybe geting underpads to place under neith you when you sleep with a waterproof mattress cover.
Not as bad as yours... Go see a female doctor (men won't understand) - it's possible you need additional supports.
I used to have worse flows when I was a teenager. Had to bring half a bag of ultra flow pads. Even resorted to wearing both pads and tampons.
Now it's usually okay, but I still bleed heavy and am weaker for a week post. I'm searching for a female doctor but I swear to god they only do maternity care but I'm sterile and childfree.
I have occasional terrible cramps. Like, I can't stand or walk sort of cramps.
Fortunately I can take sick days for that, not that I ever have. I usually just pull my laptop into bed and work through it.
Always makes me crack up when men complain about light aches and pains while the women on my team are like "uh huh, poor widdle baby", lol.

I get bad cramps but cannot compare it to anything else! I have PCOS which makes the cycle much worse. There has been one time where I had to go home from work because the day was very heavy and had to change 5 of 6 times that day, and was wearing these special pads that absorb well!
The cramps are painful but not overly bad. But it is the mood swings that get to me most! I can be happy one minute then the next I am so angry and hate everything. Its so so bad! 🙄 I purposely keep everyone away if I am like thatI never skip breakfast whenever I’m on my period because I fainted once when I was in high school. It depends, mostly. Mine lasts for 5-6 days and the cramps are sometimes bad. Heating pads and medicine are my saviors. It seems like you need to consult a gynecologist. Your period seems awfully bad.
most months bad, with what i call gushers, you get this huge gush of blood that makes one heck of a mess and pads dont always catch it. the cramping can be so bad i feel faint and i get really tired
First 2 days I'm exactly like you, and I wear 2 adult diapers to bed.
The next 3 days are lighter, but the last day my uterus decides to give it one last push... my thighs down to my knees go numb, my lower back starts to hurt and the cramp gets worse
First two days are heavy that i use a tampon and a pad. The first day is where the cramping begins and it is average id say. One time i had the worst pain that i could not sleep and felt like dying and becoming a boy. Anyways. Its not as heavy or as bad as urs my goodness
If any of this is remotely true, then I suggest you make the most urgent appointment available with either your Doctor/GP or Gynecologist, to discuss this situation.
Mine are horrible talk to your doctor about it. If nothing on the counter stops it then you need a prescription medication. Talk to your doctor. I had heavy flows but mune changed due to pregnancy's.
My periods have changed a lot over the years because of pregnancy/birth but they are extremely bad right now. Literally make to not be able to move, puking/nausea, really heavy bleeding and irregular
Oh my gosh. 🫢 Are you under the care of a doctor? You shouldn’t be experiencing that much pain and all that bleeding.
I would say mine is fairly normal. I barely have cramps and my bleeding is mild to moderately heavy. You see to see a doctor about this. To have change that often in that short amount of time, that is not normal at all and you need to see the obgyn about it.
Used to be super painful and heavy when I was younger. But after my late 20s got so much better almost painless. I think it gets better with age.
For 10 years I had HORRIBLE period pain. I used to not be able to work. I had to take 3x more painkillers than what it said on the package.. I was laying home throwing up in pain... and I bleed so so much.
Now its normal tho:)
mine last 3 days, are only heavy the first 2 days then ultra light the last day. have a little spotting for 2-3 days after that. also have zero period pain or cramps or anything
My periods are irregular due to my eating disorder. Since being on the pill, my period is practically non existent.
