The slut shaming one is definitely old and annoying at this point.

Freedom for me but none for thee will always be bullshit and a way to hold others down. Anytime someone applies rules to people they themselves don't have to follow is a tactic to oppress others.

Then they come up with these stupid rules that it's ok for men to be sluts because it's harder for men to hookup. So therefore they should be praised... You're still a slut. Still a slut. The thing you make fun of you are doing. It's hypocrisy. You can't explain your way out of it. Nobody is buying your bullshit reasons. You're literally just saying "you can't but I will"
But it doesn't work because that power base doesn't exist in society anymore. No one group is any position of power anymore to pull the double standard crap.

That's why when guys slut shame but then try to talk about how much of a player they are it comes off as cringe these days. It's sad because nobody is giving them power, eyes are just rolling.

If guys want to be slutty then go ahead, if women want to then fine. Just be safe.

But no group should ever say I can but you shouldn't. Judge it all the same or not at all.

The slut shaming thing sucks. In general, the whole way we see men vs women who have sex. I haven’t experienced it myself as I haven’t had many partners and my partners have been nice, but my friend slept with a guy who acted nice and turned out not to be. He was only the second person she’d ever been with and the first person she slept with who she wasn’t in a relationship with and he told everyone and she got a reputation as being a complete slut. Everyone things she’s been with 20+ guys when it was 2 at the time. It’s so unfair, and other girls are nasty to her, guys are nasty to her. It’s 3 now as she had a boyfriend after…. who ended up taking a photo of her naked without her knowledge and sent it to all his friends. Like wtf. Poor girl. Meanwhile the guys who do these horrible things (like taking the photo or spreading lies calling someone a slut) aren’t seen in a negative light, there’s no consequences or repercussions for their actions.

The word slut is very degrading and its different ways of using it makes it insidious. If a women gets sexually assaulted or raped she's called a slut. If she sleeps with a guy she's called a slit if she's wear a short skirt she's called a slut. If she gets to flirty she's called a slut. A women beauty is to admired always there is absolutely nothing wrong for a women to show that off. Women need to feel secure in their own sexuality. Just like men do. We all deserve our sexual counterparts who aren't afraid to express their sexuality, and feel confident on who they are and what they want. Otherwise how can you be in a healthy relationship. So before any man decides to use that word again just remember at one point in her life your mom was called that too. Know how that feels and know how your making the next woman feel. A women's beauty and sexuality is very unique and it is to be admired and cherished

Nothing wrong with slut shaming, shaming people who are on the wrong track is the oldest trick in the book, and it works often enough, but calling a woman a slut without having anything to back it up is wrong. There isn't a double standard involved since it two separate preferences that get matched together. Mens and females. Since the preferences aren't the same, there is no double standards where they differ. If female shamed men for sleeping around and rejected them. You would had a different outcome and a few might actually be living with double standards.
