Why do boys put the responsibility on girls in group projects?

A lot of them do that and just let the girls do all the work/lead or create the ideas

and one time I was the only girl in the grp they all told me that I would do the work but they would support me or help me

Looking at your age I will assume that the boys are the same age as you. Boys tend to get incredibly lazy around that age (or if my own son was anything to go by they do).

I can't answer specifically for male why they do that because I don't experience what you experience but I'm it could still be the same reason why girls do it. The answers are already below tho. Lazy or whatever, it's frickn obvious and that's more of a human thing. How about if I just say girls do it because they're lazy and that would pretty much be the same for the boys you've experienced
