Women like nice guys that are nice for all the right reasons.


When you hear they only want bad boys it is because bad boys are upfront with their intentions. How a bad boy lives his life, is not fake. Bad boys are not posers. Bad boys don’t beg, plead, kiss a womans ass, they have boundaries and never let those boundaries become violated. They are comfortable enough to let their women live their own lives and don’t feel the need to smother them or fear they will lose a woman to a woman’s independence.

but what is considered kind and unkind is a matter of perspective based on the Halo Effect/Devil Effect. case in point

handsome + kind = gentleman / ugly + kind = manipulative or groomer

handsome + funny = hilarious / ugly + funny = rude and offensive

handsome + flirting = charming / ugly + flirting = creepy and disgusting

handsome + confident = hot / ugly + confident = arrogant

handsome + shy = cute and humble / ugly + shy = weirdo or potential school shooter

Women do not love Nice Guys.

Usually, when a guy has to emphasize how much of a nice guy he is, he's not actually nice. He's overly-accommodating of his female friends because he thinks that means he's owed sex. And then, when he's rejected, he complains about how women don't want nice guys. A Nice Guy thinks he's nice because he does nice things, thinking it'll get him laid. But actually nice guys do nice things because that's just who they are.

We don't like guys who act nice because they think they're going to be rewarded for it.
We like guys who are nice because they like being nice.

I'm saying you can spot the difference because actual nice guys don't feel the need to talk about it. Because they don't need rewards or validation for being nice. They're just nice.
Nice Guys will constantly complain about how they're so nice, because they want to be rewarded for it.

@LazerBean "nice" is subjective to begin w/ however most nice guys struggle w/ women because the traits that makes them nice are turn offs. Women want type A leaders w/ the ability to make quick and decisive decisions. Nice guys typically will defer to the woman and women struggle to figure out what they want for lunch so obviously they'll struggle in a leadership role.

@LazerBean I like all women, and don't believe in calling them immature derogatory names, I'll leave thar to you. Most reasonable people agree that nice guys don't have much success w/ women. Even you had to qualify your response by naming a bunch of other traits that nice guys need to have which literally proves the authors point.

It's actually not that women don't like nice guys. They just prefer nice guys who are capable of being mean, yet often show restraint. It's more virtuous & they find that to be far more attractive than a guy who's always nice even when people don't deserve it. They (on average) don't want pushovers.

Yes, but they don't like weak, timid, whiney men. Some guys still haven't figured out that you can be a nice guy without being everything else that repels women.
