How common is this mentality of "men are guilty until proven innocent"?

Cause this seems to be a mindset a lot of women have whether it be from past trauma or general bias and misandry. A lot of women just seem to assume all men are potential sexual assaulters. And that does not seem like a healthy way to live.

Do you know why we tend to err on the side of caution? Because we don't know what people are capable of. I know literally criminals who wouldn't lay a hand on you if you were a woman, despite looking like they belong in a biker gang. I've also seen countless stories of meek, dorky or sweet seeming guys raping and killing us. So even if it's just say, 10% of all men alive today that are or would be rapists. The total amount of guys alive right now are estimated to be 3.97 billion. 10% of that is 397,000,000 men. And that's assuming it's only that 10%. So why should we risk our lives and safety, and assume all guys are ok?

Because that would be like me being wary of all women just because 10% of them are cheaters and golddiggers. That's not fair to make an assumption of you or any other woman just because 1/10th of you fit that description now is it?

And yeah, you'd be right to worry about that. But there's a stark difference between being cheated on or dating a greedy bitch, and being raped or killed. Those are not equivalent at all.

I don't think it's that. He is a husband, because he is husband material and his qualities are openly displayed in public. I personally think that you can't find a flawless husband and father for your future kids when going on dates. And you can't find a flawless wife and mother. Those parents and married couples evolved together to get to that point through trial and error.

Hmm. In any case however sound your logic may be. Life to an extent is about gambling, sometimes you gotta take chances to get what you want, and this is coming from someone who hates taking needless risks.

I'm personally in introvert, content with just sticking to my home and only going out when needed, but i know if i want a more fufilling life i can't keep this up. I need to branch out, hell i even considered going to a bar. I've NEVER done that before.

coming off as awkward, if you drink alcohol some jackass slipping something in there, and lets be honest more people go to bars to find random hookups then anything else.

Take maybe something to do. I drink my coffee while writing stuff on my phone. I don't think it's awkward. You can talk to the bartender, or listen in on someone's chat and BUTT IN in subtly and join in. I go to a little bar once every few weeks and I make some small talk. The owners are nice, the customers are also nice. It's a great 10 minutes.
