So this girl advertised as single, when I dm her she didn't seem that interested, however some how I managed to get her talking to me regularly. Come to find out she has a boyfriend she's not very happy with, but I'm not sure about those details. She works 2 jobs and is a mother and the dude doesn't help her out at all apparently. We've met up spontaneously a couple times and we're supposed to hang out but canceled bc family member medical situation. I'm coming out of an 11 year marriage I was faithful in, so I'm completely clueless.. lost as could be. I just can't tell if this chick is just trying to make her boyfriend jealous or if she is contemplating jumping into my ship. I'm use to girls who are far more dependant and looking for stability. This girl isn't impressed w any of that. So im just kind of thrown. Am I making fool of myself?

No you aren't making a fool of yourself. Sounds like she is not your type. Just from what you write you want a girl that is more dependent on you. That's not this girl. She has a life and a busy one at that. Two jobs and a kid? What did ya expect? She has to be independent. Don't try to change her because that ain't gonna work with a single mom working two jobs. Ok maybe I was a little unclear , I'm a single dad as well, I meant that I'm USE to dating younger females who were maybe quicker to be happy about accepting financial favors where as this girl isn't. I actually really like her and I don't want to screw it up by overthinking and jumping to conclusions. ... can't deal with... I'll be honest I don't really know what I'm looking for , I was just married 11 years I just like the girl, it's only been a week since we met. I'm just use to girls being a little more into me when in this stage. She's legitimately has a shit load on her plate, I wish she would allow me to help more but just is insisting on not letting me in like that.. almost like she scared of becoming in debt to me or something. I am doing this thing where I'm feeling like should talk to her or ignore her, keep in mind I still have all my shit going on , I'm a busy guy too except if she wanted to get down my ass would be there.
