I was shy at first but eventually came out of my shell and became a bit of a party girl that still got great grades.
So what type of person were you in college?

Trending & News Definitely the party animal with nothing less than an A in academics, athletics, arts, etc.
However, I was also the Prinicipal's pain in the ass especially since I masterminded many of the pranks done in and around the campus.
I wasn't nicknamed the "Queen" for nothing.
* I meant Dean.
I welcomed everyone to my parties.
There were no outcasts during my "reign" in the university and the neighborhood.
I turned nearly every geek, nerd, goth, loner, etc. into a party-goer.
Even the Professors and several other campus employees became my friends.
Wow sounds like you lived the life in college. I would have definitely wanted to be your friend in college!
@Simslover92
I'm still a "party girl" even though my parties aren't as wild as I used to have 'em.
;)
Thanks for the MHO. :)
You're welcome! And good for you! I wish I was too! 😊
Partied a good bit, made good grades, hungout with greek life but I wasn't in a sorority but I hung out with a lot of sororities and fraternities.
Same here!

Had a few friends but we were all from different groups.. so usually I was a loner lol
Ended up dropping out because I was an idiot and didn't listen the first day to what my teacher was telling us so I went 6 months not knowing we had a syllabus that told you what to do LMAO I was like why does the teacher not tell us what we need to do? and how does everyone else know? I never asked for help or anything so I struggled for months trying to guess what we had to do before I kept getting low grades so I just dropped out.. LOL
I recently went back and I got all 90's because my mom told me we have a syllabus and to use it LOL
That is what happens when you are dumb and don't ask for help :P
I was mostly a loner most of the time just try to keep my grades up and working a lot to survive. I didn’t really have anybody t0 help me or afford for my tuition, room and board, and books. I did party a little and got lucky a few times but couldn’t really afford to party really hard like most of my bros.
2nd childhood.🤣 I mean yeah I went to college. Did the coursework. But I didn't finish because the more I went the more I discovered it wasn't for me. I don't regret it. I just wished I had come to that decision sooner so as not to waste the capital I had that I needed later for investments. But I am just thankful I didn't let anyone talk me into taking out any student loans.
College should have been the funnest time of my life and it was pretty fun. But I was still pretty buttoned up and too responsible at that age.
You're so lucky you don't have to deal with student loans. That's the downside to have been in college if you didn't have scholarships or parents to help pay for it. But I can't complain too much because I had a wonderful college experience and would say it was almost worth it. And you certainly made the right decision for yourself! I definitely tell anyone who is thinking about going to really think about it. My sister decided not to go and that was the best decision she could have made as college just wasn't for her. It would have been such a waste.
Totally agree! I didn't want to come off as if I was putting college down. The higher of level education you have statistically you earn more at every point. But they've turned college into a profitable business. They've monetized it, and sell the student debt to keep them a slave to it thier whole earning career.
Yes that was my point I'm thankful I didn't have someone push me into a loan because "college is the next step" even though as MOST kids that age I had no cleat idea what I wanted to do with my life. Academia is more about filling quotas. Stuffing kids into programs because it fits thier need not yours. I'm not saying schools don't care about the finished product. But not enough. Kids need as much help as you can give them both academically and financially at that age. Because most kids do not even know what to ask. They do not have the life experience yet.
Yep. I definitely agree and I didn't think you were putting college down at all. They have indeed turned college into a profitable business. And I can honestly say for the next 25-30 years I will be a slave to it. I may have my Master's degree but it's not without great consequence. I will be shelling out money to them for the rest of my earning career which sucks.
Have you looked into school loan forgiveness? My sister was paying on hers for the past 20 years. And then the loan forgiveness deal came around and she got forgiven for the rest of it. Her husband tried but he was denied. But I guess you can apply more than once. So they're going to re-submit for him.
I don't know all the stipulations but it might be worth looking into.
I think I have to be working for a public service job which I'm not sure if I do or not as a Librarian working for mental health. I might qualify. I would have to ask and find out. Oh wait I just looked into it and I do qualify so I will definitely do that. Thanks!
👍👍👍
Well I went to community college for only a year and I'd say I didn't really fit into any of the college stereotypes
Oh ok.
I was working, paying rent for an apartment and paying off a car by the time I was 16 so no time for college.
Well you don't have to worry about student loans! So good for you! You dodged a big bullet lol
I went to college for like 8 years, and I’m not a doctor, so you can probably figure out what my deal was😂
Never went to college... i think that is for people who wanna extend their childhood, play videogames, party and make parents to pay for everything.
My parents didn't pay for my college education and I didn't just party. I studied hard and got a degree. Granted it wasn't a very practical degree because it was English but I worked my butt off.
Librarian
Why is that funny?
I was angry most of the time. I hated college and the whole thing was a horror show.
I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. College certainly isn't for everyone.
Average student. Did go to a university but I got ill and had to leave.
Oh I'm so sorry.
It happens
I'm just trying to get through , hopefully I can get in all the classes I need😊
You will! 😊
Party animal with good grades
I wonder how many people went to college 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Did you go or going?
I also wonder the same thing 🤔🤔🤔
Nope I didn't even graduate high school and I refuse to pay for it
Well school isn't for everyone and many still make it without school and you're lucky you don't have to worry about student loans... ugh that's coming up for me smh
Yep I chose not to and that's one of the main reason lol
Lol understandable
I didn’t go to school
Why didn't you go? How did you earn your way? I have to say I honestly admire people who didn't go to school and paved their own way.
That's so cool that you did that for a living. I've always wondered what it would be like to be an exotic dancer. But that's good you're in the Navy now and going to Nursing School!
@Simslover92 it was fun but I am too old and I want a retirement
Understandable!
And I bet it was!
Hungry, money was tight.
