Why do I like smelling my boyfriends clothes?

Like wearing his hoodies and his scent are just so comforting to me. I can’t get enough.

Is this common place for people or am I just weird?

Smell is a important way that our bodies transfer information.
If you like the smell of a partner it's because it's telling you things like that he has a immune system that's compatible with you (so your children together will have a good immune system), that he's healthy (and therefore able to defend you and your child and provide for you), and if his smell dominates an area and you it'll indicate to other males that that area is his and that we shouldn't go there unless we want to get into trouble with him, it's the remains of the time when males would mark a territory.
(And that smell also signals that you are his too).
It essentially provides a feeling of safety and that everything is okay.

So it's perfectly natural for you to want that smell around you all the time.
Proof that you are in his theory, under his protection, that you are his.
And so are your child.
And that everything is going to be okay.

When I was dating, I used to take my girlfriend's shirt to bed and smell it when I was sleeping, when she wasn't around. People's scent contains pheromones, so that has a lot to do with it. It's instant attraction. It's completely normal sniffing clothes. I remember my girlfriend Destiny's shirts always smelled like oranges. I loved it! But yeah, it's normal and a lot of people do it.

I even took his worn shirt to my country and slept next to it every night, I never wore it, because I wanted it to keep his smell as long as possible.

Scent is powerful. Very intimate. Very primal. Scent made me feel a passion that nothing else could trigger. To the point that my first wife made me intoxicated with her sweat. Not every woman since but there’s a level of intensity that you cannot attain unless you really desire someone and smelling her “dirty” and still wanting her made a few girls fall in love with me. It just triggers something animalistic. Usually led to a lot more sweat…😉

Fresh sweat is full of pheromones, so I definitely believe that.
Once it's a few days old that sweat definitely isn't smelling as good though...

Agreed. She’d also be full of bacteria and putting her own health at risk if she hadn’t showered. But pushing it to almost 24 hours (depending on the girl) she can smell absolutely amazing.

This is pretty normal. The part of the brain that processes smells is right next to your memory center so that certain smells can invoke certain memories.
I used to let my girlfriend wear my baseball cap. It smelled like this shampoo that she used to use and everytime I smelled it I thought of her.
