Girls how I can cheer my girlfriend whos going through depression up?

My girlfriend is currently going through depression she doesn't open up when I ask her to do so. Any ideas what I can do to maybe cheer her up and help her get through this tough time? she's given me a date that she wants to end herself on so any help now would be greatly appreciated.

I did tell her multiple times I will be there for her no matter the case but till now she hasn't replied. I did things like write a custom poem to her since she likes poetry and all. I'm currently not well and so I can't go out so texting her is my best bet basically

When someone is depressed they feel very very lonely even if they are surrounded by people, so you will have to be there also showing them that they are not alone going through it help.

Try calling her, go see her, do everything you can to make her feel not alone.

I am talking with experience as I am depressed and had a someone who was depressed. Good luck.

Hei thanks for the response ummm i just had an operation so I can't really go out and she doesn't pickup my calls either anything else I can do?

Does she have friends that can check up on her? I would try contacting them.

She doesn't even show her feelings with them mate so I'm pretty much short on options here

Try contacting them, so they can visit her and try to cheer her up.

Man I got called out once for following her friends she keeps this relationship private I could try it would get me in a lot of trouble especially now that she's depressed but ill give it a shot

Well, I don't what to tell you, if she really is suicidal, I would risk it all because it's a very serious matter.

You can't move at all? Can't even get someone to drop you to her place?

Im afraid telling her friends about this maybe because I don't know if she keeps this with me only and telling her friends means that I'm sortof exposing her secrets if she hasn't told them

I can but due to her parents and my parents not knowing each other it would be very difficult to meet up we do have an event coming up which both of us are going to but I fear the worst of what will happen later

Have someone drop you by and go in alone or have her friends check up on her.
