What makes some women intimidated by good looking guys?

I've noticed as a good looking guy, some women are intimidated by my looks but some aren't intimidated at all (treat me normally). Why is that?

Well it will have to do with their confidence level. I am not easily intimidated by anyone regardless of gender. I have a lot of confidence in myself and I don't mean looks. I just mean my ability to speak to people and relate to them however I can. I am also outgoing, talkative and bubbly. It is easy for me to have a conversation with someone. Those women that might have insecurities about their looks or self worth might be intimidated... though they shouldn't be.

I get intimidated by good looking guys cause I don't want to be attracted to a villain who has the morals of a tarantula and the brain of an ox.

Makes sense. But I'm actually also a little intimidated by attractive women too so it's kind of funny.
