Whenever my girlfriend told me that she is going to take a shower, I cannot reach her for 2-3 hours. Is this normal? How long should a shower take for a girl?
+1 y2-3 hours is longer than most people take in a shower. I would guess the average is 20 minutes. I tend to be fast, if I'm just rinsing it is less than 3 minutes, if I take a while more like 10. I had a roommate who took long showers, about 40-50 minutes.
She is likely doing other things. Maybe she's cheating on you; that would take 2-3 hours to get another guy over, have some foreplay and sex for about 2 hours, then a shower for 20 minutes like a normal person?

Or she could turn her phone off, get some aromatherapy going, do all her hygienic stuff, shower, makeup, nails, hair, skin care. Women especially seem to be able to spend 2-3 hours in a bathroom or "getting ready", but it's not all in the shower.

+1 yIt depends on many things:
- She needs to wash her hair or not?
- Is her hair long or not?
- She needs to shave her legs or not?
- She needs to shave other zones or not?
So, as you can see, the more she needs to do, the more time it will take. I suppose a regular everyday showe should take no more than 15 minutes to do basic things.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 y24-45 in the shower; hair, leg shave and pits, body wash, clean the face. Lay on my bed for 20 mins because my shower was so exhausting. 30-40 mins to brush and dry my hair; adding product and sort out my hairs part. Things ad up if you’re a heavy person, drying off is hard to do as well.
Plus, some women don’t rush. If she works full time and pays all her bills and tends to her kids, then to shower is a huge task on top of life.
So as to how long a women showers is not one set time based on a concept that she’s a woman.

+1 yI take a long time. One hour when I am free enough.
But these days I am busy, so I hop in the shower in the morning and at night, shortly for like 20-20 minutes.
But when I have free time, I love being there, listening to music, singing, dancing, taking care of myself, takes me well over 1 hour to fully enjoy and relax.

Some days you take a bath to relax, and some days because it's necessary. So, it depends.. If you're taking a shower to relax, you can stay in the bathroom as long as you want. But other than that, 10-15 minutes will be enough for daily shower.

+1 yusually i take 2 hour showers or even more if i can , I blast my fav music and just enjoy it 🙂but for most girls it's THE shower (meaning that it's an everything shower , shaving , conditioning , moisturizing , exfoliating , skincare , lotions , oils ) so i guess that's why she takes so long
if I just shower without music or no time limit , it takes 30 mins max

Shaving for me does take some time. I used to wonder whether I’m slow at it or women do it fast.
1.7K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. I only spend 10-15 mintues in the shower. When I was growing up my parents never allowed more then a 5 mintue shower so to me 15 mintues is long. Hours long is crazy in my opinion

+1 yYeah 2 or 3 hours is a long time but she must bring doing more than showering. She might be shaving her legs, washing her hair, and maybe giving herself some love if you know what I mean. Maybe if she is taking a bubble bath just taking awhile to relax and unwind maybe take a nap in the tub. How ever she be very pruny and dry skin.
10 Reply 343 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. 2 hours is dolling up time. Makeup, hair, skin, shower, etc. It can actually be longer. Showering is limited, even if shaving because you run out of hot water.
Now a bath might be 2 hours minimum.

+1 yif she’s coming back to bed, she can take as long as she wants in the shower. If we are done and she is leaving, I want her out in ten minutes. Otherwise, she can expect me waiting when she gets out of the shower naked.

The days your girlfriend takes 3 hours, she didn’t shower quickly enough, and we went another round. Sorry. ;)

High maintenance vs low maintenance.

10 Reply 6K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. It certainly doesn’t take two or three hours unless she’s just laying in the bathtub taking her time day dreaming. I doubt very seriously every day like that for three hours

+1 yThat’s generally too long, showing shouldn’t take more than 10mins , because your never too clean and those chemicals are harmful to your natural skin that tends to dry out your skin after showering
