(Alpha/Beta man/male), Cuck, Chad, Stacy, Karen, Simp
Honestly using "Alpha" & "Beta" are way worse than the others.
For those that don't know:
A "Cuck" is a man whose wife is sexually unfaithful. Usually he's okay with it & even could enjoy it.
A "Chad" is basically any guy who is above average in looks & has no problem being attractive to women.
A "Stacy" is basically any girl who is above average in looks & has no problem being attractive to men.
A "Karen" is any obnoxious, angry, or entitled female who is above 18, usually a middle aged woman who should be wise enough to not have these negative behaviors.
A "Simp" is any man that is far too desperate for a woman's attention even though she doesn't feel the same way in return.
The reason I say "Alpha" & "Beta" is worse is because they really don't have as concrete or consistent of a definition, making them a far more dangerous generalization. Since they don't have as consistent or reliable of a definition, they're far too broad. Making them extremely susceptible to misinterpretation. At this point, they basically mean "anyone who I like" & "anyone I don't like."

𤣠I think a lot of people say these in some cringy ways ngl. But so long as people say em in the right way & don't make them as cringy, then it's cool. For instance, I always cringe when people are having serious conversations & they can't add anything more than these words. Causing their arguments to lack depth & clarity.
But I think saying "alpha" or "Beta" unironically will always be cringe. Humans are far too complex to even seriously entertain that simplification. - +1 y
To me, they're no different from many other words that aim to simplify something. But so long as people know the proper definition, the words can be used to make conversations more efficient just like any other. Instead of saying "Very attractive guy," one can just say "chad." And instead of saying "obnoxious, angry, or entitled female," one can just say "Karen."
However, I do understand the dangers. Especially with the Karen one. The chad one is probably the safest one of these. All you have to be is an attractive male, which can be objectively proven. But the Karen becomes a Karen when she is socially disliked. And people might not use it in a wise way. They may not care enough to understand the situation she's facing to really determine if her behavior was justified or not.

Obviously I'm not the target audience for this question, but I just wanted to say I have worked with a lot of truly alpha blokes, and never once did they ever refer to themselves as alpha.
As far as I am concerned any man who refers to himself as alpha is a long way from being just that00 Reply

+1 yAlpha/Beta man/male: red flag. I've learned the hard way men who are too obsessed with keeping their image as a "man" are unhinged.
Cuck: just a word for men who enjoy watching their partner sleeping with others. Not a problem when used correctly, I don't kink shame.
Chad: okay as a joke. If used seriously though, that's troublesome to me.
Stacy, Karen: it's fine if not used too much.
Simp: I love simps, guys who think it's an insult are digging their own grave.

What is a Simp?

@LunarEclipse433 a word that men use to insult anyone who treats his woman well. They don't like other men raising the bar for them so they would rather make those men think that something is wrong with them.

@qqqqq0000 I'm talking about guys who are obsessed with manhood because they are internally insecure little boys and anytime their perception of being a man is threatened, mostly perceived, they fall apart. They are boys who haven't matured beyond puberty and try to hide under the concept of manhood to justify their inappropriate thoughts and actions and controlling women.

Proud āsimpā here reporting in lol.
Really though āsimpā is a word mgtow types toss at me for daring to stand up for a woman. Because god forbid women are human beings too right? Im not doing it for sex or brownie points with her or something. Im doing it because likely the guy is being a douche to her and needs to be told to F off.

The key word in the acronym simp is "mediocre". There's a difference between being a good boyfriend and being a desperate thirsty internet dweller who buys e-girls' dirty bathwater. That's a "simp."

I can only agree with this here. @CubsterShura
Simps though is a problem of definition most of the time. So it depends under what definition he would use it. - +1 y
@msmissydc while they definitely exist (by the actual definition) i think they are largely exaggerated and not all that common. Its really just a term insecure mgtow dudes like using.

@Still-alive You also gotta consider that these words are thrown around pejoratively. Terms like "white knight", "beta" and "simp" are used incorrectly for men who stand up for women. Conversely, terms like "pick-me girl" are used for women who stand up for men, or have the "wrong" politics.
I'd not even pause long enough to tell the guy the time of day.
ALL men who use these terms are losers, douchebags, inferior men suffering from small dick syndrome that demean and bad mouth others to make themselves feel / seem superior. It is a STRONG indication that they have ROTTEN nasty personalities

I've heard far more women say "I want an alpha male" then I've heard men say "I am an alpha male" in regard to a revolt against the sissification of American men. I think most of the guys on tiktok in their mom's basement showing how to out-alpha each other is pretty pathetic, but there's no denying that people are naturally drawn to charismatic others, which I think is what is trying to be conveyed with that movement... whatever it's called. Now we certainly may disagree on what makes a person charismatic vs douchey and I think we could debate at length specific examples of who is and is not charismatic and who is and is not douchey, but to say the concept itself is invalid goes against a great deal of sociological literature.

Also people want to counter with "but it turns out wolves don't actually HAVE alphas." Okay but that's irrelevant. We all know what the concept of alphas means in the context it's spoken of. We all know what the concepts of fairies and unicorns refer to and those aren't real either. We don't understand societal delusion by saying "that doesn't exist." People jump of buildings believing they are Jesus Christ. The fact that isn't true that they are Jesus Christ doesn't mean I want to park on the street in front of the building.

+1 yI think it would depend on how often these words were used and who he was using them to describe. If he was using them to describe himself and his mates, then probably no... but if it was the occasional use to describe someone that he saw while running around town. But if he used them all the time, no, I don't think that I would date someone who talked about others using those derogatory terms.
